Psychological therapies

Welcome, and thank you for finding me

My name is Joseph Harney, an English speaking psychologist in Copenhagen, Denmark. If you’re here, you may be seeking support for some problems in life and living. I am Irish and bring my warm, personable approach to the Nordic region.

My practice is split between online, and in-person work with the collective of psychologists working at P-Huset. The house is conveniently located in the heart of Copenhagen city-center. Online time together can provide convenience and accessibility whilst remaining effective.

I work online with international clients too, including many in the UK where I lived previously. So, you’re welcome you to be in touch if you live outside Denmark.

By exploring here, you’re already making your first steps towards positive change. I can support you to restore your sense of self-belief and trust in who you are.

I am a Qualified Pluralistic Practitioner

Pluralism is a new, evidence-based approach from the UK. It is professional without being clinical, and promotes your agency at every step. Helpful therapy should restore your trust in yourself and your own power. Yes, it can be hard work sometimes. But, it can also be revelatory, rejuvenating, and revitalising.

I practice in a culturally sensitive, trauma-informed way. So, if you’re seeking an approachable English speaking psychologist in Copenhagen or elsewhere, I’m happy to explore working with you.
